Dynamic Memory – definition

DESCRIPTION:

  • a system for arranging various data kinds in the phone’s memory. Likewise known as shared memory.
  • Since memory is dynamic, all data kinds are kept in the same memory (there is no separate memory for photos, ringtones etc.).
  • Dynamic memory has the benefit of being more flexible than partitioned memory since with the latter, even if other types of memory are free, you can fill up the photo memory, for instance, and then be unable to capture any more pictures.
