Yesterday, the Google Pixel 8 screen dimensions leaked, and today, we have pictures of the phones in cases. The images are just another confirmation of how the phones would look, but they don’t provide any new information that we hadn’t already reported.
Google Pixel 8
With both cameras concealed beneath a single dark pill-shaped glass, the Google Pixel 8 resembles its predecessor, the Pixel 7, in this transparent case-based image. Yesterday, we learnt that the phone’s size might be reduced due to an anticipated reduction in the screen’s diagonal, but the camera island would continue to be a horizontal stripe that protrudes from the rear.
Google Pixel 8 Pro
The Google Pixel 8 Pro is shown in a blue rubber shell with an inside lined with alcantara, but once more, it doesn’t reveal anything new. All three cameras will be grouped together, and the laser AF and LED flash will be located on the right side. The image resolution is pretty poor, making it difficult to tell if the case is indeed real or just a fan render. The case will also contain a slit for a lanyard.
