the SOC for Dimensity 9000+. The ROG Phone 7 series is currently being prepared for launch, which is set for April 13—less than a week from now. Earlier today, popular leaker Evan Blass posted on Twitter the official renders of the Asus ROG Phone 7 and Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro.
There are several minor visual alterations between the models from the previous year. First off, the non-Pro model is no longer equipped with a back display. But, like the Nothing Phone 1, the phone features a two-tone appearance with what appears to be a translucent top. The RGB strip from the ROG Phone 6 & 6D is present on the rear of the Asus ROG Phone 7. Since there are fewer lines and words on the back this time, the design is cleaner overall.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro’s tale is comparable. Compared to the ROG Phone 6 Pro and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, it boasts a cleaner design. However, it keeps the flap and secondary rear display, which are used to employ the AeroActive cooler to directly cool the phone’s internal parts. The “AeroActive Portal” is what Asus refers to as.
The camera module in both phones is the same and is smaller than it was last year. However, the front design is the same.
Performance & Cooling are the two key improvements that Asus introduces with every new ROG Phone series each year. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC, which powers the Asus ROG Phone 7 and Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro, is already known. However, it is unknown what new improvements will be made to the cooling system.
Both phones will include a 6.78-inch 165Hz AMOLED display, a 6,000mAh battery, a 50MP primary camera, a 13 Megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5 Megapixel macro camera if other specifications remain the same.
