Last month, Samsung announced a significant camera update for the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea. This update was eventually made available in Europe and India. For both carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra models, the update is currently seeding in the US.
The firmware version S91xUSQU1AWC8 for carrier-locked units and S91xU1UEU1AWC8 for unlocked models is included in the upgrade. It includes the April 2023 Android security patch, as well as all of the camera enhancements and fixes previously disclosed by Samsung. To learn more about the upgrade, please see the image below.
If you live in the United States and haven’t received the update for your Galaxy S23/S23+/S23 Ultra, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > Software update.
