The India launch date for the vivo T2 5G and T2x 5G has been revealed, and it is going to differ from the Chinese models.
Today, vivo revealed that the T2 series will be unveiled in India on April 11 at 12:00 local time. The two handsets in the lineup are the vivo T2 5G and vivo T2x 5G.
The Dimensity 1300 SoC, 6.58″ 144Hz FullHD+ LCD, and 6,000 mAh battery with 44W charging were all included in the T2x when it was unveiled in China last May. It has three cameras: a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
However, the vivo T2 launch in China for H1 2022 was eventually postponed. On vivo’s website, its pictures and specifications were accidentally posted, revealing that it was simply an iQOO Neo6 SE variant. Here is a link to a comprehensive specs comparison.
Because of the way their camera islands are designed, the Indian T2 and T2x stand out from their Chinese counterparts in the teaser picture released by vivo India. They don’t stick out. Additionally, the designs of both cellphones are flat.
The promotional page on Indian online retailer Flipkart’s website reveals at least one smartphone will come with a FullHD+ AMOLED display with 1,300 nits peak brightness, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a centred punch hole for the selfie camera, though vivo hasn’t released the T2 and T2x’s spec sheets just yet. On April 7, 9, and 11, respectively, additional information regarding the camera, processor, and launch deals will be made available.
