We are expecting the Google Pixel 7a at this year’s Google I/O developer conference, but as is customary with Google Pixel phones, we already know what to anticipate. This particular leak validates the previously disclosed design and divulges the intended colour possibilities.
According to the drawings, Google will offer us three colour options: light blue, white, and black or a greyish-white paint job. The Sage from previous year is replaced with the blue one. Additionally, the Black (Charcoal) appears a little lighter than earlier, judging by the renders.
Unfortunately, the study omits the marketing names of the colors, and some of them might become market-specific exclusives.
The Pixel 7a shares the same aesthetic as the smaller Pixel 7, with the exception of slightly wider front bezels.
Pixel 7a: Expected Specifications.
A 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor are expected to be included in the Pixel 7a. The next Pixel is rumoured to provide up to 256GB of internal storage, an increase above the previous generation’s cap of 128GB. Additionally, it is said that Google will increase the RAM and introduce the phone with 8GB of RAM. The device will have a 10.8MP front camera for taking selfies.
The phone is also expected to include a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. With the addition of the new Tensor G2 SoC, it is anticipated that the device would experience an increase in performance as well. Additionally, it is anticipated that the device will support 5W wireless charging. Android 13 will be installed by default on the Pixel 7a.
