The Galaxy S23 series received a significant camera update from Samsung last month, which was first released in South Korea before being made available in Europe, India, and the US. The Galaxy S23 Ultra still has photo issues with HDR, but according to tipper Ice Universe, Samsung will address these in the upcoming software version.

We expect the cure for these HDR-related difficulties, which result in a halo effect surrounding the objects, will be included in next month’s security update, which will also raise the Android security patch level on the Galaxy S23 Ultra to May 2023. Ice Universe is mum on the release date of this update.
