The vivo X Fold2 and X Flip have been the subject of multiple leaks in the last two months, and we now have a rumoured release date to look forward to. According to a reliable leakster from China, vivo will launch its latest foldables and vivo Pad 2 tablet on April 20.
Along with the launch date announcement, we also received additional specs confirmation for each of the three devices and some fresh, official-looking pictures of the foldables. Another report claims that the 8.03-inch AMOLED display on the vivo X Fold2 would ship with a resolution of 1916×2160 pixels. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the gadget, which will also have 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, a 4,400mAh battery with 44W charging, and a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor are all expected to be included in the X Flip clamshell foldable. The vivo Pad 2 is anticipated to debut with a metal body, a Dimensity 9000+ microprocessor, and a 144Hz LCD with 1800x2880px resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio.
