Introducton :
vivo has announced the Y78+ 5G, the company’s latest phone in the Y series in China. It has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED curved screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.3% and an 8MP camera hidden behind a punch-hole.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC, with 12GB of RAM, and a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
Design Of Display :
The 6.78″ AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (20:9), 120Hz refresh rate, and excellent colour rendering with 100% DCI-P3 coverage (105% NTSC) is the vivo Y78+’s key selling point. With a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits, it is also extremely bright.
Additionally, the display is curved like those on more expensive models, and a fingerprint reader is located beneath the screen.
Camera :
a simple camera configuration that can only record 1080p video due to the chipset and has a 50MP primary sensor on the back (f/1.8 lens with OIS). The 2MP depth sensor joins it. An 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture is located in a notch on the front.
Battery Capacity :
The battery, a 5,000mAh power cell that can be recharged at 44W, is the other notable feature we noted. Headphone functions are likewise handled by the USB-C connector, but if you want to use wireless headphones, the Bluetooth 5.1 modem can support aptX HD/Adaptive and LDAC.
Chipset & RAM Management :
The chip is a Snapdragon 695. Vivo didn’t skimp on memory; you can choose between 128 or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage (there is no microSD slot) and 8 or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, but the 695 is beginning to show its age in terms of performance. Up to 8GB of virtual memory may be added to the OriginOS 3 running Android 13.
Color Availability :
All three colors of the vivo Y78+—Blue, Yellow, and Black—have a light gradient effect. And before you ask, no, there is not yet a non-plus Y78.
