DESCRIPTION:
While Asus first offered the ROG Phone 5 in three different configurations, the top-tier ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has only recently arrived in India. All three are designed specifically for gaming, featuring cutting-edge components including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Processor and unusual features like shoulder-mounted AirTrigger controls. Although the ROG Phone 5’s basic model is clearly powerful, the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is fully stuffed to the gills with features. To determine if the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is now the greatest gaming phone available, I put it to the test.
ASUS ROG PHONE 5 ULTIMATE SUMMARY
With a 6.78-inch screen, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is a large smartphone. Moreover, the rear of the Asus ROG PHone 5 Ultimate has ultrasonic triggers. Also, Asus has included a side USB Type-C connector so that the phone may be charged while being used for gaming. It has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus at the front and Gorilla Glass 3 at the rear. Given its size and 238g weight, the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate seems heavy. In the box, you’ll get a 30W charger and a clip-on AeroActive cooler.
Asus chose the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU and combined it with 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 18GB of LPDDR5 Memory. It comes with a 30W charger and a 6,000mAh battery. Asus’s customised ROG UI is added to Android 11 on the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate.
A 64-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera are all included in the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate’s triple camera configuration. It sports a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. Photographs taken by the cameras look OK as is, however when zoomed in, the details aren’t outstanding. The phone automatically permits long exposure photographs, which eliminated the need for Night mode due to the camera’s strong low-light performance.
