Itel, a member of the Transsion company, unveiled the itel Pad 1 tablet in India. With two colour options—Deep Grey and Light Blue—it will be offered for sale in India through both online and physical retailers at a cost of INR12,999 ($160/€150).
The Itel Pad 1 has a 10.1″ IPS monitor with 1,280×800 pixels and a metal body. Its 4GB Memory and 128GB of storage, which is expandable by up to 512GB using a microSD card, are powered by the Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC. There is no information on upcoming software updates, but the device comes pre-installed with Android 12 (Go Edition).
A front-facing 8MP camera and a rear-facing 5MP camera are both present on the Itel Pad 1. Additionally, it has Wi-Fi and LTE access, the latter of which enables 4G calls.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the complete unit and can be charged at up to 10W through a USB-C port. Other features of the itel Pad 1 include FM radio compatibility, dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, and other features.
