The Realme C55, which recently emerged online, will go on sale on March 7. This information was provided by Realme’s Indonesian branch, which created a promotional page on its official website to announce the C55’s March 8 debut and sale date in the Asian nation.
On Realme Indonesia’s online shop, the Realme C55 is also available. It verifies the specifications and appearance of the smartphone but withholds the C55’s price. The Helio G88 Processor will power the Realme C55, which comes pre-installed with Realme UI 4.0 and Android 13. Both a 6GB/128GB and an 8GB/256GB memory option will be available. The former will support up to 6GB of virtual Memory expansion, while the latter will support up to 8GB. Both versions will include a dedicated microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion.
The 6.72″ FullHD+ 90Hz screen on the Realme C55 will have a maximum brightness of 680 nits and a punch hole in the middle for the 8MP selfie camera. More intriguingly, however, the smartphone will include Apple’s Mini Capsule arrangement, which is modelled after Dynamic Island. It will show low battery warnings, data usage, the phone’s charging state, and the daily step and walking distance totals. The final two won’t ship with them and instead will be delivered later via OTA.
The Realme C55 will have a dual camera setup at the rear, with a 64MP camera taking centre stage. A first for a C series smartphone, it will also have a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging, an improvement over the C35’s 18W charging. Since Realme recently stated that the majority of its C series smartphones would support 33W or faster charging this year, we probably won’t see any C series Realme smartphones charging slower than 33W in 2023.
Other notable features of the Realme C55 include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Additionally, it will be equipped with an NFC device and Dirac’s audio tuning. The C55 will have two colour options Rainy Night and Sunshower and a 7.89mm thickness.
Next Tuesday during the Realme C55’s launch ceremony, which will be livestreamed beginning at 1PM local time, we’ll learn more about the Indonesian pricing. There has been no word from Realme’s Indian division regarding the C55, which is also anticipated to go on sale in India shortly.
