Introduction :
The iQOO Neo 7 family already boasts three members, and now there is a fourth. The new versions are nearly identical to the iQOO Neo7 SE, which was revealed in early December of last year.
The iQOO Neo 7 has a Dimensity 8200 processor, a huge 6.78″ 120Hz display, and a fast-charging 5,000mAh battery. Its design is nostalgic, drawing inspiration from 8-bit games and Polaroid cameras, despite the fact that it is more of a gaming phone than a camera phone.
Processor with High Graphics :
The Dimensity 8200, a 4nm chipset, brings a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU and support for high refresh rate screens to that end. The CPU contains four Cortex-A78 cores, one of which can reach 3.1GHz, three others that can reach 3.0GHz, and four A55 cores that can reach 2.0GHz.
The Neo7 phones include 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and the FuntouchOS 13 system (based on Android 13) has the ability to add 8 virtual gigabytes via the Extended RAM 3.0 function. As is always the case, cooling is critical for long-term performance, therefore iQOO has outfitted the phone with a big vapour chamber as well as many layers of graphite sheets. It’s worth noting that, much as the iQOO 11 was India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone, the Neo7 is the country’s first Dimensity 8200 phone.
AMOLED Display Quality :
Moving on to the display, it has a 6.78″ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400px (up from 6.62″ on the Neo6) (20:9). It has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz (with 60 and 90Hz options for content, plus 30Hz for the Always On Display). The maximum brightness that consumers may manually adjust is 500 nits, but the high brightness setting raises it to 1,000 nits. The display has HDR10+ certification.
Returning to gaming, the display is generally set to 300Hz for touch sampling, but there is also a 1,200Hz instant mode. In Extreme Game Mode, there are also motion controls that make use of the gyroscope and accelerometer. Six separate motions can be assigned unique actions: left hand raising, right hand lifting, left leaning, right leaning, horizontal forward pressing, and horizontal backward pressing.
The New State game supports motion control out of the box, with more to follow (including Call of Duty Mobile). Furthermore, the game can run at 90fps on the Neo7, and Battlegrounds Mobile India will support 90fps soon (should be done by the end of March). Call of Duty Mobile supports the Ultra graphics preset.

The iQOO 7 has been announced, with a Dimensity 8200 microprocessor and a 6.78″ 120Hz display. The Neo7 improves on the FlashCharge technology, now supporting 120W. This means that a 1-50% charge takes 10 minutes and a full 1-100% charge takes 25 minutes. In comparison, the Neo6’s 80W system required 12 minutes and 32 minutes.
Massive Battery life :
And with a lower battery – the current model has 5,000mAh capacity, whereas the phone from last year has 300mAh less. It’s worth noting that there are two charging modes: Quick, which keeps temperatures down, and Super Fast, which charges at full speed. The battery is rated to survive 1,000 charge/discharge cycles before reaching 80% capacity.
Before we go, we should mention the camera. The Neo7 includes an ISOCELL GW3 – a 64MP 1/1.97″ sensor based on ISOCELL 2.0 tech (the Neo6 used a 64MP GW1P sensor). The ultra wide camera was deleted for this iteration, leaving only the main module, plus a macro and a depth module, to keep it company. As previously stated, this is more of a gaming phone than a camera phone.
(The iQOO Neo7 will be available in two colour options: Ice Blue and Interstellar Black.)
Pricing & Colors availability :
Before we get to the price, iQOO states that the Neo7 will be updated to Android 15 and will receive security patches every couple of months for the next three years.
The Neo7’s base 8GB/128GB edition costs INR29,999 ($360), while the 12GB/256GB model costs INR33,999 ($410). Some bank cards qualify for an instant INR1,500 rebate.
