Two well-known Fortnite leakers have confirmed on Twitter that a Resident Evil collaboration is planned for Chapter Four, Season Two, which is scheduled to premiere at some point soon.
This partnership would start around the same time as Resident Evil 4 Remake, which stars Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, two characters who would purportedly appear in Fortnite when the second season debuts.
IS A RESIDENT EVIL COLLABORATION FOR FORTNITE IN THE WORKS?
The leaks and rumours are flying thick and fast as Season Two approaches because a brand-new battle pass implies brand-new skins, missions, and several partnerships. Players have recently enjoyed unlocking Geralt from The Witcher in Fortnite, which added a number of difficult challenges to the enduringly well-liked battle royale platform.
We previously covered a leak that said a Fortnite x Attack on Titan crossover episode was forthcoming. Expectations are that this will make up the bulk of the upcoming season, and the game even went so far as to briefly adopt a “futuristic Japanese” motif.
The exact same leakers have now disclosed that they have been given exclusive knowledge of a forthcoming Resident Evil collaboration that will include Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy in the game. Apart from the actual costumes, it is anticipated that this partnership is only superficial and that no additional content would be distributed through the crossover.
