Sony papers have been made public as part of an inquiry into the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, and they hint to a potential launch date for the PlayStation 6 system.
Sony has made its records available at the request of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which is looking into the potential effects of the aforementioned transaction. At first, they were categorised. According to reports, Activision will keep putting out PlayStation console games until 2027. Also, it appears that Call of Duty will debut on the PlayStation before the following Sony system.
Experts predict that the PlayStation 6 will be on sale in 2027. Hence, the system won’t be available until seven years after the PlayStation 5. Seven years is the ideal lifespan for a console. Hence, PS2 was released six years after PS1, followed by PS3, PS4, and PS5, all of which were released seven years apart.
