Realme has officially unveiled the GT Neo 5 SE in China. The new device shares some important specifications with the regular GT Neo5, but there are three significant changes in the chipset, camera, and battery areas.

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE features a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and a frame rate of 144Hz. The punch hole cutout houses a 16MP face camera as well as an optical under-display biometric reader.

The GT Neo 5 SE features Qualcomm’s newest 7-series chipset, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, as well as up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The camera section includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP telescopic lens. The battery size and recharge rates are also noteworthy differences between the GT Neo 5 and the new SE variant. The SE variant has a 5,500 mAh capacity versus the GT Neo 5’s 5,000 mAh and charges at 100W rates versus the GT Neo 5’s 150W solution. Realme UI 4.0 runs on top of Android 13 to manage the applications.

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE is available in blue and black. In China, the 8/256GB trim costs CNY 2,099 ($305) and the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage edition costs CNY 2,799 ($406). Sales in China begin on April 10.
