On April 3, Realme will formally reveal the GT Neo5 SE, as has been known since last week. We learn more about the phone’s display today, in advance of the announcement next week, thanks to a teaser the business itself shared on Weibo.
The screen on the Realme GT Neo5 SE will have a frame rate of 144 Hz and enable high-frequency 2160 Hz PWM dimming. (in lieu of support for DC dimming, this is the next best thing for those who are sensitive to lower-frequency PWM).
The display is flat, as seen in the preview above, and it has a centred hole-punch for the face camera. The height will be 6.74″, there will be an integrated fingerprint reader, and the maximal luminance will be 1,400 nits, according to frequent leakster Digital Chat Station, who revealed the picture below. Realme claims we can anticipate “1.5K” resolution, whatever that is.
