The Spark 10 Pro, a better-screened version of the Spark 9 Pro from last year, was just revealed by Tecno. The new model’s bigger 6.8″ IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate is larger than the older model’s 6.6″ 60Hz display (both have 1,080 x 2,460px resolution, 20.5:9). The 10 Pro also features a glass rear for the first time on a Spark, a feature typically only found on more expensive models like the Phantoms.
Without mentioning any brand names, the business refers to this as “hard-wearing Starry Glass”. The phone is available in Starry Black and Pearl White; the “starry” portion refers to the speckled appearance.
The new Tecno Spark 10 Pro not only features an improved display but also a marginally improved chipset, the Helio G88 (up from G85, which was unable to support FHD+ @ 90Hz displays). 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM (plus up to 8GB of virtual Memory) were installed by Tecno. Although the Camon 18’s basic configuration had only half the memory capacity (4/128GB), the display and chipset are similar. By the way, the Spark has a specific microSD spot.
The 32MP front-facing camera on the Spark is more advanced and has an integrated light (same as on the older Spark 9 Pro, but better than the 16MP unit on the Camon). The rear camera has a 50MP primary sensor with Super Night mode, 3D LUTs to rapidly change your photos’ style, and an unidentified auxiliary sensor (a depth sensor, most likely).
The 10 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery like its brothers and supports 18W charging via the USB-C port with the included cable and adapter.
The 3.5mm headphone port on the bottom allows this dual SIM 4G phone to include NFC and an FM radio. The Power button on the side has a fingerprint scanner built into it.
The price of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro is not yet revealed; it will be released later this month. The phone will come pre-installed with HiOS 12.6 and Android 13.
