According to The Elec insiders cited by the MacRumors portal, the new iPad Pro generation with OLED displays will be considerably more costly than its predecessors. The 11-inch version’s beginning price was $1,500, while the 13-inch version’s was $1,800.
If the reports are accurate, the 11-inch iPad Pro with OLED screen will cost $899, which is 80% more than the present model with LED Liquid Retina, which costs $799. The price of the 13-inch variant is 60% higher than that of the 12.9-inch mini-LED Liquid Retina XDR model, which starts at $1,099 today. The expensive cost of the OLED panels that Apple selected for the iPad Pro is the cause of the price increase.
It follows that the iPad Pro will cost even more than some MacBook computers. For instance, the 13-inch MacBook Pro begins at $1,299 and the 13.6-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip starts at $1,199.
