Oppo smartphone thought to be the Oppo A98 5G with the model number PHQ110 received certification from China’s TENAA in November. A98 is now one step closer to being released outside of China after receiving model certification as CPH2529 from Thailand’s NBTC.
Other than verifying 5G connectivity, the Thai certifying body withholds all other information about the CPH2529. The Chinese version’s features, however, are known to us due to TENAA.
The Chinese Oppo A98 will be driven by a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and feature a 6.7″ FullHD+ curved AMOLED touchscreen with a fingerprint sensor underneath for biometric identification.
Up to 512GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM are included with the smartphone. With three cameras a 108MP main, a 2MP depth/macro, and a 16MP face it will be powered by a battery with a 4,690 mAh rating.
