Realme debuted the GT Neo5 last month, and the company today announced that the SE variant will follow on April 3 in China.
A video snippet released by Realme shows the Realme GT Neo5 SE will feature three cameras on its back but will be missing the RGB LED rectangle found on the vanilla edition. The Realme GT Neo5 SE will be unveiled at an event that starts at 2 PM local time.
The GT Neo5 SE will be 8.95mm thick and 193.1g in weight, which is about 6g smaller than the Neo5, according to another Realme preview. The newly unveiled Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC will power the GT Neo5 SE, the company has already verified.
The Realme GT Neo5 SE’s specifications have yet to be released, but a Realme device with model number RMX3700 and thought to be the Neo5 SE has appeared on AnTuTu with a few stats – Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 1TB UFS 3.x storage, and Android 13. AnTutu does not disclose the diagonal or sharpness of the RMX3700’s 120Hz screen.
Realme will probably give more information about the GT Neo5 SE as the gathering approaches (it’s still over a week away). In the interim, you can read our in-depth evaluation of the Realme GT3 here. It is the international model of the 4,600 mAh battery-powered GT Neo5 240W. There is also a 5,000 mAh variant available, but it only allows “only” 150W charging.
