Today that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be made public at a gathering in China on March 28. This will be the world’s first smartphone to use the recently revealed Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. This is by far the most powerful 7-series Snapdragon ever produced, so the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be a clear jump above its brothers in terms of sheer computing power.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo completed Geekbench today on its way to the debut, achieving a 1,213 single-core score and a 3,972 multi-core score. In addition to the SoC, which we already knew, the entry verifies that Android 13 will be pre-installed on the device. The particular prototype that was being tested had 12GB of RAM, but we anticipate that there will also be variants with less memory.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo was recently approved in China by TENAA, MIIT, and CCC. These approvals showed that it, like the Redmi Note 12 Pro, supports 67W rapid wired charging.

The Turbo variant is said to be the first in the Redmi Note family to include an in-display fingerprint reader. A 6.67-inch FHD+ 120 Hz OLED display, a 50 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 2 MP macro shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery are also reported.
