Today marks the South Korean premiere of the two weeks ago revealed Samsung Galaxy A34. The smartphone comes in four hues, but there is only one KRW499,400 ($385/€355) 128GB storage version available. We won’t know for sure how much RAM it has until March 31 – when purchases start in South Korea – because Samsung hasn’t said whether it has 6GB or 8GB onboard.
The Dimensity 1080 SoC powers the Samsung Galaxy A34, which comes pre-installed with One UI 5.1 built on Android 13. It has a 6.6″ 120Hz FullHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen, a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh, and 25W USB charging.
It has four cameras for photos, including a 13MP selfie lens on the front and a triple camera system on the back with 48MP main (with OIS), 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro units.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 also has an in-display biometric sensor, stereo speakers, an IP67 certification, and a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage extension. The Galaxy A34 also includes NFC and MST technology.
