According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 will have a novel hinge style that will cover the display crease. However, it will retain the same 50MP ISOCELL GN3 unit found on the Galaxy Z Fold4 from the previous year and not include a new main camera.
Apparently, Samsung will use the GN3 on the Galaxy Fold5 rather than the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 found on the Galaxy S23 Ultra because “it is impossible to use HP2 on the Fold5”, according to trustworthy tipster Ice universe.
It is still unknown whether this is because of financial restrictions, design limitations, or some other reason because the source doesn’t explain why this is the case.
