The entry-level vivo Y02A was unveiled today. The phone was unveiled with a simple design and a large 5,000mAh battery.
The vivo Y02A’s front panel features a 6.51″ LCD with 720p resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera. On the rear, there is only one camera, an 8 MP shooter on a circular island with an LED flash.
The vivo Y02A is driven by Mediatek’s modest Helio P35 chipset. RAM is 3GB, and storage is 32GB, with a separate microSD slot for expansion.
The operating system is Funtouch OS 12, which is based on the barebones Android 12 Go Edition.
The phone has LTE connectivity and a dual nanoSIM slot with Dual Standby; it also has Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and Bluetooth 5.0. The charging power is restricted to 10W, but a USB cable is included.
The Y02A is basically a global variant of the recently announced vivo Y11 (2023). The vivo Y02A is initially offered in Bangladesh for BDT 12,499, which is just under $120/€110. Cosmic Gray and Orchid Blue are the colour choices, and both are already available for purchase on the company website.
