Recently, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset for phones in the upper-midrange price range. Now, Xiaomi and Realme have verified that their first devices will use the newest SoC. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo5 SE will soon be available, according to the brands’ official Weibo accounts.
Yogesh Brar, a tipster, also divulged that the Poco F5 will soon be available with the SD7+ Gen2 chip. The Snapdragon 685 is another midrange chipset that Qualcomm is supposed to release; according to our sources, it could make its debut on the Redmi Note 12 4G.
Realme GT Neo5 SE and Redmi Note 12 Turbo will undoubtedly debut with the SD 7+ Gen 2 chipset.
On March 23, Xiaomi will debut the Redmi Note 12 series, during which we may see the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo model running on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. The device is expected to launch with a 50MP primary camera, a 5,500 mAh battery, and 67W charging in addition to a 6.67-inch AMOLED touchscreen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Realme GT Neo5 SE is expected to launch with an AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate, 50MP main cam, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP auxiliary module. The phone will launch with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and boot Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 on top. Based on rumors, GT Neo 5 SE should launch sometime in April.
