The Galaxy S23 trio now has a new software update that offers photo enhancements and fixes for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
To begin with, the focusing method has been altered for quicker photography, which means that when a user hits the shutter button on the phone’s camera in the default camera app, the picture is taken even if the focus is not entirely locked.
By going to the Camera Assistant > Prioritize focus over speed option, users can alter the behaviour and have the app take photos only after a proper focus has been established. For more information about the upgrade, see the picture below.
It should be noted that these changes are coming to the Galaxy S23 trio as part of the March update in South Korea, and it remains to be seen whether these improvements will be included in the April update for units in other regions, or if Samsung will release an update before that just to deliver these improvements and fixes.
